Conditions of class bookings at Sewing Direct – The Knitting and Stitching Centre

For All workshops/classes full payment is due on booking.

This can be via BACS(bank details can be provided on request, OR cash or credit card by phone or in person at Sewing Direct.

All classes are non-refundable once a booking has been made due to the limited enrolment so please check your diary carefully before you sign up

Don’t leave booking until the last minute, if numbers are low we may have to cancel and you may be disappointed

Day Workshops
If you are unable to attend and you contact us within 28 days or more of the date of the class then we will look to transfer you to an alternative date within 3 months of the original class date, providing there is availability. If you do not confirm a place on the alternative workshop date within 3 months your place will be lost.
If you give less than 28 days' notice then no transfer is available.
You are welcome to send someone in your place but you MUST notify us of their name, email and phone numbers in 14 days in advance of the workshop.

Weekly/monthly Classes
Please check your diary carefully before enrolling as the payment is for the full course regardless of if you miss a week or not.
Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. However you are welcome to send someone in your place but you MUST notify us of their name, email and phone numbers in advance of the class.

Cancellations by us
If we have to make unavoidable alterations/cancellations to our programme you will be informed immediately (via the email address you have provided) of an alternative date or a full refund will be given. We cannot accept responsibility for wasted travel or other costs or for disappointment
NB classes will only run if we have a minimum of 4 people booking for Adult classes

Group Bookings

For convenience group bookings can be made if there are more between 3 and 6 people (depending on the class wanted) attending (depending on the class wanted) and choose their own date in conjunction with our availability. In order to secure a date, the group must pay a non-refundable deposit of £50, with the full balance paid 14 working days before the start of the course. If the class is due to start within 7 days, then the class must be paid for in full.
